Co-production Meetings Awards

Award Arte

European cultural chain Arte granted an award of 5,000 euros to Jazmín López’s project Leones (Argentina), produced by Benjamín Doménech.

 

 

Award cinecolor and kodak

Cinecolor and Kodak granted a first prize consisting of development and one-light transfer of 15 35mm cans and the development of the 15 35mm cans to Manuel Nieto Zas’s project El Lugar del Hijo (Uruguay), produced by Manuel Nieto Zas and Nathalie Trafford.

Cinecolor and Kodak granted a second prize consisting of development and one-light transfer of 10 35mm cans and the development of the 10 35mm cans to Renate Costa Perdomo’s Cuchillo de Palo (Paraguay), produced by Marta Andreu.


Award Ñandú Studio

Estudio Ñandú granted a prize of 80 hours of studio time with a sound technician for sound design to Alejo Franzetti’s project No Temo el Colapso (Argentina), produced by Luciana Civelli.

WORK IN PROGRESS Awards

Award Lahaye

Lahaye granted the prize (at the winner’s choice) of 20 days of HD camera equipment or 20 days of editing and/or colour correction to the winning project of the section Work in Progress, El Fantasma de Juan Ojuez, produced by Sebastián Aloi.


Award Studio Betaplus

Beta Plus granted José Luis García’s project Todo lo Sólido se Desvanece en el Aire, produced by Gabriel Kameniecki, the following prizes:

  • One month of post-production on AVID DS Nitris (equivalent to 4 weeks –Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day).
  • One month of off line on HD express pro (without operator), transferred from HD to DV (equivalent to 4 weeks, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, 20 days) and half a month of online AVID DS Nitris (equivalent to 2 weeks, 10 days, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day).
  • (Prizes valid for 2 years)

Award Tauro Digital

Tauro Digital granted a prize of 96 hours of studio time for post-production, consisting of 16 hours of sound mixing and 80 hours of sound editing to Gastón Solnicki’s project Mateo Oo, produced by Kitao Sakurai.

Juries

The members of the jury in this edition were: Rodrigo Moreno (Argentina, teacher and prize-winning filmmaker of, among others, “El Custodio”, 2006); Marit Van Den Elshout (Netherlands, member of the committee of the Hubert Bals Fund of the International Film Festival Rotterdam and the committee of selection of short films of the Rotterdam Film Fund), Alesia Weston (United States, director of Sundance/NHK International Filmmakers Awards, of the Sundance Institute’s Feature Film Program and of the Middle East Screenwriters Lab).

The prize giving took place on Sunday 29 March at 8pm at Espacio Bafici, located in Guardia Vieja 3332.
