Rushmore tells the story of Max Fischer, a boy who is in his tenth year at the Rushmore Academy and who’s currently an editor for the school’s newspaper and its yearbook, the president of the French Club, the German Club, the Chess Club, the Astronomy Club; captain of the fencing and debate teams; etc. Max falls in love with a first year’s teacher called Miss Cross and uses all the available resources in order to win her love.
