Synopsis

With a background that mixes both film and theater studies, and a short film, El reloj, which has a lot of international mileage (it competed in Cannes and in Sundance), Marco Berger chose, for his first feature film, a story of characters, based on the work of the actors. Its strong point lies in the conversations and the implicit. A modest selection of its locations, with terraces in abundance, from where the gray roofs of Buenos Aires can be spotted, is the setting to a dialogued drama (or is it a comedy?). Bruno (Manuel Vignau) is dumped by his girlfriend; behind a calm, indifferent expression, his mind plans a cold, sweet vengeance. She, a modern girl, keeps on seeing him once in a while, but has another boyfriend, Pablo (Lucas Ferraro). Bruno becomes Pablo’s friend, with the idea of eroding the couple, maybe introducing him to another woman. But, along the way, the possibility of a plan B arises, a more effective one, which will put his own sexuality into question.
