Bio

She was born in 1955 in a Jewish Family that migrated to Israel in 1966. She lived in Rabat, Jerusalem and Paris, and has French and Israeli citizenship. She made fifteen documentaries of various styles, from found footage to cinematographic meditation, going through intimate searches and music and writer’s portraits. Her films are committed in a human and professional way to a better comprehension of the contemporary world, history and cultures from Africa and Middle East. Among her films, Palestine, histoire d’une terre (1993), Mur (2004) and Rachel (2008, shown in this Festival edition).
